I found these pictures from before I made the matching dresses (Feb. 2018) that I didn't post. So the dress wasn't the first thing I sewed for myself, but it was the most wearable, haha. I made this shirt from inexpensive knit Walmart fabric I found for a couple of dollars. I tried my hand and making a shirt for me. Basically, its kinda bland but mostly just too small, darn it. If I had made it a larger size I might actually wear it. Its not horribly too small though, so I do have it hanging in my closet still. Here are the (very silly) pictures:
Nice shirt for casual wear with the lace dressing it up. It doesn't look too small. In black nobody would notice that.
