Floral Knit Top

Along with the dresses from the previous post, I tried to make me and Eesa matching tops.  Did you catch the word "try"? And do you notice there is no picture of my top? That is because I threw it away.  Yep, straight in the trash. I don't really know exactly what went wrong---but it was something about the neckline.  It looked awful and was unwearable so I just cut my loss and tossed it. On the other hand, Elisa's turned out adorable. I originally didn't have the bottom ruffle; I added it later when I realized that it was just too short on her without the extra inch or two the ruffle added. It was a lot of work for those couple of added inches, but it was worth it:

  1. I really love the burgundy color for the background and the
two tones of pink and white flowers. Instead of throwing away your shirt you could have re-used the fabric or given it to good will. The fabric is very pretty.
