I made this back in August, and I just love it! I used Michael Miller fabric, which normally I do not buy because its expensive, plus I have to pay for shipping. But, I got an order from my Etsy shop that required a specific fabric from fabric.com and I figured I might as well get some of this cute mermaid fabric while I had free shipping and a coupon code. I love its bright colors and of course the cute mermaids. I made it a bit big so it will fit her all year.

Strawberry Emmaline Dress
I made this dress over 6 months ago, back when Elisa just turned 2. It was her un-planned birthday present! I made it using mostly scraps. It is a shorter version of the Emmaline dress. I love pink and green together, and I couldn't resist putting this strawberry ensemble together for her! Isn't she darling in all of her strawberry getup?
Minnie and Mickey Personilzed shirts
I had a lot of fun making these shirts and I think they turned out really well. I made them using freezer paper and fabric paint. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube showing how to to freezer paper transfers, and they are really easy to do. Easy, but it can get a bit tedious cutting out all those small shapes. I'm sure this is a copy-right infringement, but since I'm not selling these, I'm not worried. All I did was google "minnie mouse" or "mickey mouse" and I found these images. I adjusted them to the size I wanted and printed them out. Then I taped them to some freezer paper and got slicing with an x-acto knife. For the lettering, there are plenty of free Disney fonts you can find online. Like I said, these are pretty easy and they turn out professional looking! The best thing though is that they are cheap to make. I found Gabe's shirt for $2.50 at Target and Elisa's cost $4 at Walmart. The paint and freezer paper are cheap too, and since I already had them in my craft stash, it was probably pennies worth that I used.
Okay, not so cheap when you mess up. Well, I didn't really "mess up" on this, I just had a wet paint sponge brush and didn't realize it until I pulled back the freezer paper :( Never use a wet sponge brush :(
Here are the outfits in action. I also made the black and white polka dot ruffle pants for Eesa. I found the fabric at Goodwill years ago for a couple bucks, and I still have a couple yards left over.

Minnie Mouse Dress
I made this dress for Elisa this past summer, entirely out of scrap/leftover fabric and used no pattern. I am happy with the way it turned out. I'm even happier that it got to be worn at DisneyWorld, which I did not have in mind while making this dress! I love the princess-look the bodice has, but the inside is kind of a
mess since I was just winging it as I went along, but no matter.
As you can see, it all worked out perfectly; she was a big hit in her Minnie Mouse outfit.

Owl Ruffle Shirt
I made this shirt over the summer for Elisa. I bought the pattern for a buck at Joanns or HL, one of the two, I can't remember now. I bought the owl fabric on clearance at HL and (as usual) I wish I had bought the rest of it! I love the bright summery colors and the ruffles absolutely adorable! One of my favorite shirts on her!

Retro Houndstooth Dress
I grabbed this pattern when it was on sale for like $4 from 5Berries. I pretty much copied their idea for the B&W houndstooth with the red collar, so no real creativity on my part. I love the dress on my little Eesa though! I love the collar and the retro-look it give the dress:

Gray and Yellow Brother/Sister Matching Outfits
Here is another brother/sister matching outfit set I made months ago (February, I think...?). I liked the way they turned out. They don't wear the outfits as much as I hoped they would, but that's what happens when kids have too many clothes!
I used some fabric had had from my free-fabric stash. It was originally an ugly dirty dish-water gray, but I bought some black dye and it dyed it a charcoal gray. Unfortunately, with every wash the fabric gets lighter and lighter. That was my first (and quite possibly, my last) time dying fabric.
I used the Viollete Field Threads "Josephine" top for Elisa's shirt. It was a pretty involved shirt to make because it calls for pin-tucking and of course the collar, ruffles, and button holes aren't a quick sew either. But I love this shirt pattern and I will definitely be making more in the future! The skirt I made up and I'm pleased with how it turned out. For Gabe's shirt I used a 99 cent pattern that I got at Joannes. I liked the way his turned out too, but I don't like that the hems flip up because I made the hems too wide. Oh well--lesson learned.
Here are the pics. These are the only ones I have of Gabe in his shirt, but you get the idea. I also made a matching headband for Elisa. I'm not sure if I like it or not.
