Christmas Dress/Done with Sewing for Others

Here is a cute and simple peasant dress I made for the boutique to sell.  It didn't, so that is why I'm won't be sewing for them anymore.  No more wasting my time, money, and energy!  If I'm going to spend anything, its going to be on my own little family from here on out :)
I like this dress, but I don't love it.  I used the Whimsy Couture pattern, and I think it is just a bit bulky, but it just may be that I made this dress a size up from what she normally wears.  But, it was a fast and easy sew, so no big loss on time I guess.
I have a great idea to get the most out of a dress like this, but since I won't be sewing for anyone else it will just have to be put on the back burner until I change my mind.  Ready?  Here it goes: Interchangeable bows!  A green one for Christmas, a black one for Minnie-inspired, a pink one for Valentines day, and a blue one for 4th of July!  And since this this dress is very roomy, it can start as a dress and end in a tunic, because we all know how fast these babies grow!

  1. She looks so sweet in this, and different colored bows would make it more versatile. Would it look good with a smaller, shorter bow?
